Send an invite with a role. Pending invites can be resent or revoked.
Open Team and invite someone with their work email and a role. Choose Send invite.
- Already has a Desk account: they join right away and see this help center under Working in the next time they sign in.
- New to Desk: they create an account at desk.orstrax.io with the same email address and confirm it from the verification email. They join automatically — no need to set up a help center of their own.
Invites expire after 7 days. Pending invites can be resent or revoked. Removing a member takes away access to this help center only.
Accounts for your own app and Desk accounts are separate. Your app’s customers never need a Desk account — only the people who answer requests or edit articles do.
