Connecting a custom help domain
Add help.yourdomain.com and follow the DNS step Desk shows.
Every help center has a permanent Desk address, such as desk.orstrax.io/your-product. You can also use an address you already own, such as help.yourcompany.com.
On Domains, enter the address people should type and choose Connect domain. Desk shows the DNS record to add: type, name, and where it should point.
Sign in where you manage the domain, add that record, then come back and choose Check connection. DNS can take a little while. You can leave the page and return later.
When the address is Connected, you can use it as the public address. Visitors on the Desk URL are sent to your custom domain. Ticket links, articles, and email use that public address.
You do not configure certificates, DNS targets for the platform, or hosting details. If something needs attention, Desk says so in plain language.
Do not point a hostname that already serves another live website until you are ready to move that site.
