Working the Orders queue
Update an order, open details, sync from Shopify, and see Ship by dates on the Orders list.
Orders is the working queue for the connected Shopify store. The heading shows how many rows match your current filters.
Sync Orders
Use Sync Orders when Shopify changed something that hasn’t shown up yet. Webhooks also keep Orderflow current when Shopify sends order events.
Update Order
On a phone, tap Update Order on the order card. On desktop, click the status pill. Both open the same workspace.
From Update Order you can:
- change the order Status
- set or update Ship by
- add or edit a Customer Message
- add an Internal Note
- view and manage the current proof when the order is in a proof-related status
Save, Cancel, and Details keep their usual meaning. The eye icon on the row opens order details in Orderflow. The box-and-arrow on the order number opens that order in Shopify.

Opening an order
Select a row to open details, attach files, and read activity for that order number. Use Update Order when you need to change status, Ship by, messages, or a proof.
Open selected orders in Shopify
Check the orders you want, then Open in Shopify. Shopify opens a filtered Orders list for those orders. One selected order opens that order’s Shopify page.
Columns you’ll use often
The list includes the Shopify order name, customer, status, Ship by, and totals your team uses to pick the next job.
Cancelled orders
Filters can hide cancelled orders. If a Shopify order is missing, confirm it was created in the import window and that it isn’t filtered out.
Note: Customer Messages can appear on the customer lookup page and in order-update emails. Internal Notes stay with your team.

Trying to run custom work after checkout? See How to manage custom Shopify orders after checkout. If Etsy (or another marketplace) orders are imported into Shopify by a connector, How to manage Etsy orders in Shopify covers that workflow. Orderflow does not import marketplace orders.
