Data and privacy in Orderflow
What customer data Orderflow stores, why, and how deletion and Shopify webhooks work.
Orderflow stores Shopify order data so you can run statuses, proofs, information requests, and customer lookup. The product privacy policy is at orderflow.orstrax.io/privacy. Terms are at orderflow.orstrax.io/terms.
What is imported
The first import brings in Shopify orders created in the last 60 days. Later syncs update those orders and add new ones. Orderflow does not import history older than 60 days.
Customer name, email, phone, and shipping address appear for your staff when Shopify includes them on the order. Public lookup does not show shipping email or phone.
Emails
Customer messages go out only when you enable them on a status or send a proof / information request. Orderflow does not send marketing campaigns on its own.
Uninstall, redaction, and deletion
Uninstalling the Shopify app turns off Orderflow’s API access. Stored workflow is kept so you can reinstall without starting over.
Shopify’s customer and shop redaction webhooks remove customer fields from stored orders. Email hello@orstrax.io if you need a workspace deleted.
