Customer status, proof, and information emails
Turn on status emails, edit Message Templates, and insert supported Orderflow variables.
Customer mail is written in Message Templates and sent according to the status and Status Action you configured.
Orderflow emails the address on the Shopify customer profile, not a leftover checkout email on the order. If that profile has no email, Orderflow shows a warning next to the customer name and does not send. Use Sync Orders if you just cleared an email in Shopify and the queue still looks stale.
Status emails
On Statuses, enable customer email for a step when the customer should hear that the order moved. Edit the subject and body for that status in Message Templates.
Proof Review emails
Proof templates can include {proof_link} and {proof_cta} (the Review Your Proof button). Orderflow keeps that call-to-action in the proof email so the customer can open your lookup page with ?proof=. If you have not saved a lookup page yet, the link opens on Orderflow.
Form emails
Form templates can include {info_link} and {info_cta} (Provide Information). If you turn the customer email off, the form only appears on order lookup.
Variables
Use the Insert variable buttons in the editor. The full list is in Using template variables in Orderflow.
Use the public status name for {status} so customers do not see internal labels.
Note: Replies go to your reply-to address, not to Orstrax support. Set that under Settings → Email.
For when those emails actually reduce “where is my order?” questions, see How to reduce “Where is my order?” messages for custom products.
