Setting a Ship by date

Set Ship by on an order, fill a missing date from Shopify, and filter the queue by today, this week, or later.

Ship by is the date on the working queue. You can set it on the order row or in Update Order.

Set Ship by

On Orders, use the Ship by control on the row. You can also set it in Update Order.

Settings → General includes Default Order Offset — how many days from today Orderflow uses when a Ship by date is not set.

Fill dates from Shopify

If an order has no Ship by date, Automations can copy Shopify’s Fulfill by date from the order’s fulfillment orders. It can also use Additional details or line-item properties when those are present. Existing Ship by dates are left alone.

Turn that automation on only if those Shopify fields are how your shop already stores a need-by date.

The date on the Shopify order page is not the same as Additional details. Additional details is a custom field. The order-page date is Shopify’s own ship-by / fulfill-by date.

Filter by Ship by

The Today, Week, and Later counts on Orders filter the list when you click them. Today includes overdue orders. Click the same count again, or Clear all, to show every order in the current view.

Sort by Ship by

In Filter orders, sort by Ship by soonest or Ship by latest to work the queue by deadline.
