Collect email marketing signups after proof approval

After a customer approves a proof, you can optionally invite them to your store’s email marketing. This is off until you turn it on.

The offer appears after the usual “thanks, we can move forward” confirmation. Approving the proof never depends on joining the list.

Turn it on

1. Open Settings.
2. Open Customer Experience.
3. Turn on Post-proof marketing opt-in.
4. Save.

You can change the heading and message. Keep {store_name} if you want Orderflow to insert your store name. The checkbox and Join the list button stay the same so the signup stays explicit.

When customers see it

They see it only after a successful proof approval, and only when all of this is true:

• The setting is on
• Shopify has a customer record with an email
• Shopify says they are not already subscribed
• They have not already declined this offer

If Shopify is unavailable or their marketing status cannot be confirmed, the proof thank-you still shows and the signup stays hidden.

Customers who are already subscribed are not asked again.

What they subscribe to

They are joining your Shopify email marketing — the same list you see on the customer in Shopify Admin.

Orderflow does not add them to an Orstrax or Orderflow mailing list, and it does not send marketing campaigns for you.

They have to check Yes, keep me updated by email and choose Join the list. The box is never pre-checked.

If they choose No thanks, Orderflow will not ask that same customer again on later proofs.

If signup fails

The proof stays approved. They can try Join the list again. If Shopify does not accept the update, they will see a short error instead of a success message.
