Your printers
Open a printer page for totals, ink, cost, and that printer’s print log.
Each printer you add gets its own page in the sidebar under My Printers.
On a printer page
- Total Pages shows Avg. Pages / Day, a larger activity chart, last-7-days and busiest-day stats, a By paper size list when sizes are known, and sometimes a fun fact. Hover the activity chart for a day’s count. On thermal printers this is the main card. The subtitle includes when you added the printer.
- Ink & Cost (ink printers) combines spend with each color’s pages since refill, last refill date, and cost. Use Refill and History (top right, next to Printer Settings). Thermal / no-ink printers skip this. Manual printers show cost per mL here instead.
- Print Log is a table like the main Logs page, limited to this printer.
Printer Settings
Printer Settings (top right) lets you rename the printer, choose ink configuration (including Thermal / no ink), link extra Mac printer entry points (USB + AirPrint, duplicate drivers), and remove it.
After tracking has started (prints recorded, or ink set up), the primary Mac printer link stays locked so page counts don’t get mixed up — you can still add other entry points under Also count prints from.
Tips
- Pick an ink configuration that matches the printer’s colors (for example CMYK, CMYK + Grey + Red, or CMYK + White + Gloss for a UV printer), or Thermal / no ink for label and receipt printers.
- If the same printer shows up more than once on your Mac, turn on Also count prints from for those other entry points.
- Removing a printer asks for confirmation twice — it permanently deletes that printer’s history and refill records.
- Drag a printer up or down in the sidebar to reorder your list.
