Settings

Choose the default page, refresh interval, time format, updates, and backups.

Open Settings from the gear at the bottom of the sidebar — it opens as a popup over the main window (or use Print Manager → Settings, ⌘,). Use Save or Cancel at the bottom before using Dashboard again.

Options

  • Default page — Dashboard, Logs, or a specific printer.
  • Check for prints every (seconds) — how often Print Manager looks for new finished prints.
  • Time format — 24-hour (default) or 12-hour for dates in Logs, last synced times, and refill history.
  • Open at login — start with your Mac (menu bar drop). After reinstalling, open the app once so login startup can refresh.
  • Updates — check online for a newer version, or tap Check for Updates anytime.
  • Page counts — Settings explains how Print Manager gets page counts from your Mac, and when Full Disk Access is needed.
  • Backup — choose a folder and turn on automatic backups (one dated zip every 24 hours while the app is open), or Back Up / Restore manually.

Moving to another Mac

Install Print Manager there, then Restore your zip. If printer names in System Settings differ, open Printer Settings and fix the Mac printer link (only possible before tracking has started, or after clearing that printer’s history).
