Ink and refills

Set up ink colors, log refills, and track cost per page or per milliliter.

On a printer’s page you can track the ink colors that match its configuration — standard CMYK, or extras like grey, red, white, and gloss. Choose Thermal / no ink when adding a label or receipt printer — those skip refill tracking.

Set Up Ink

Use Set Up Ink once to mark every color as filled today — that starts the page counters for each color.

It also asks what a refill costs. Same for every color is the usual choice. Pick Different per color when, say, black costs more. Costs are optional; leave them blank and add them later from Refill History.

Refill

Tap Refill (top right on a printer page), pick a color, then log that refill. You can enter an optional cost and notes (brand, lot #, and so on). Logging a refill starts a new page counter for that color.

On a manual printer, the refill also asks for the bottle size in milliliters so Print Manager can show cost per mL and how much is left.

History

Open History to see past refills, including cost when you entered one. Use the pencil to add or change a cost, or the trash to delete an entry (you’ll be asked to confirm twice). Pages that were counted on a deleted refill roll back onto the previous refill for the same color.
