Getting started with Maker
Add materials and equipment, then create a recipe. That recipe is what a product and a Shopify variant can use.
Open Maker
From sundaymaker.com, open Maker. The home screen shows your recipes, which ones still need a cost, and which ones still need a product link when Shopify is connected.
Add what the recipe will use
- Open Materials and add something you buy, such as a blank, a sheet, or packaging.
- Open Equipment and add a machine, including what it costs to run.
- Open Recipes and choose New recipe.
What a recipe records
Give the recipe a name. Add the materials, production steps, and packaging that go into one item. Sunday Maker uses those costs when you set a margin or a selling price.
A product you sell on the website can use that recipe. In Shopify, a product variant can use the same recipe so its cost comes from Sunday Maker.
